My practice is very limited in its scope. I represent clients with only two types of legal problems.
First, I help drivers with suspended drivers licenses get their licenses reinstated. Since I resolve a high volume of suspensions each year I have unique and detailed knowledge of the Judges, staff members, pretrial diversion programs, policies, and Deputy Prosecutors, involved with legal problems of this type in the Indianapolis area Courts. I assist clients with suspensions resulting from moving traffic violations, traffic-related criminal charges such as DUI's, default judgments, suspensions due to missed Court dates, and unpaid fines and reinstatement fees, driving without insurance and driving while suspended, for excessive points, and for lengthy driving histories. I work directly with the Courts, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and with insurance companies and agents, to reinstate driving privileges for my clients. My traffic-related practice also includes reinstating the licenses of drivers who have had their driving privileges suspended for lengthy periods of time. I can resolve habitual traffic violator suspensions imposed by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and lifetime suspensions imposed by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and by Courts. Indiana law does provide relief from these lengthy suspensions and I work with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, and the Courts, to resolve these lengthy driving suspensions. In 2016 I filed and argued more hardship license cases, now called specialized driving permits, than any other private attorney in Indiana. Second, my law practice includes representing clients who have been issued traffic tickets and who have been charged with criminal charges involving driving. I handle more ticket cases than any other private attorney in Indiana, and I can get nearly all tickets dismissed or amended to lesser charges usually with no required Court appearances by my clients. And I represent clients who are charged with both misdemeanor and felony driving offenses. I assist them with all aspects of their cases including understanding the charges, evaluating evidence, examining available defenses, and with Court appearances, plea negotiations, trials, and sentencing hearings. While I handle cases primarily in Marion County I do accept cases in neighboring Counties.
